These holiday stockings are designed by Sprout Patterns on fabric that is uniquely designed by the Spoonflower market. Artists from around the world upload their fabric designs on Spoonflower. The buyer can choose from thousands of artists' designs and have it digitally printed on the fabric of their choice. Sprout pattern has a holiday stocking that is super fun to design. You pick out what you want for the main part, something else for the cuff, and another design for the strap. I chose something unique for each of my family members.
When the fabric with the outlined prints came in the mail, I started cutting and sewing right away. I decided to line each stocking with a quilted fabric that I had in my stash. This gave the stockings more body. I really liked how they turned out so I decided to make a DIY video and share it with all of my Sewist friends. It is posted under classes. I hope you enjoy it! |
