Notes These little houses started out as a group challenge to "Build a house in a day". Such fun using bondaweb to make house blocks. These are to be shown on a stand at the Pinfold group exhibition which will take place in October.
I started the first house at the meeting, finishing it off at home. I decided to try mounting it on a prepared canvas since I can get these really cheaply in town.
This will probably be the first "house" of three. In the end I decided against using the prepared canvases since these were not available in an appropriate size. Instead, I used a black fabric as a thin binding. The house is just waiting for a doorhandle. Probably a bugle bead?

Bondaweb applique with hand stitching as well as free machine embroidery.

This reminds me of the picture book book, The Bedspread, by Sylvia Fair!
