| ノート | I chose red and blue fabrics to make my first log cabin quilt. The squares are about 6 inches. I sewed strips of blue on one side of the square and red strips on the other. I arranged 4 of the 6 inch squares together to make a bigger square with the red facing the center. I added a blue sashing between the squares and a blue border. The backing and binding are made from a striped fabric. I used my walking foot to stitch in the ditch, and free motion quilting to fill in the squares and borders. |
