How about intro's, favourite things to sew or people to sew for etc?

I'm Tracy, I live in country Victoria, Australia. I'm back sewing after a 20 year break, I have been sewing bags and such for our weekend market stall as well as making jewellery from cutlery. I am also enjoying making new clothes for myself and I am just starting to dabble in quilting. Made my daughter a rag quilt out of the millions of flannelette pyjamas she left behind when she shifted interstate a month ago. Can you tell I am suffering from empty nesters! Lol

OOOh sew this is like Ravelry for people who have multiple obsessions then?

Everything is still a bit rough around the edges here.
But if anyone has a good pic for the group, let's see.

Please let this site turn into the Ravelry for sewists. I've been wanting that for *so long*

Hi Tracy! Just FYI, this group is an offshoot of a Ravelry group for people who like to swear a lot and have the sense of humor of 12yo boys. Just fair warning, you know? :)

Me too. I've signed up for several disappointing sites. I am hoping for some functional  pattern management and reviews.

LSG is everywhere!  

I made us a terrible drawing of a "stitched" outline of a hand giving the bird, but I think if we make that our group badge we will get kicked out right away. Dammit.

Dammit, not only can you not put photos in posts here AFAICT, but you can't edit posts? Whaaaat? I may stick with Rav.

I have high hopes for this site. Not least because there is an LSG group! They seem to have borrowed a page or two or ten from Rav's book, so I think that if they keep open minds (for reprobates like us) and open ears, it will attract a lot of people.

Oh, I have an idea for the badge especially if we have to keep it SFW. Let's find some badass heroines--y'know, chicks who well, chicks. And use her as an icon. Fictional or real.

Request it! The owners are super responsive to requests right now because it's so new. And if they know more people are looking for those things, they'll prioritize them. Everything I've requested, most of which was related to working within my own projects, I've gotten within a couple days.

Sorry ladies, those features are in process, will be live soon :)
