Searching for known points or objects by name by directly typing into the search textbox (with matching or non matching case) does not appear to do anything

if the object name is selected from the code window then the object search performs as expected

I have tested this in Safari and Chrome and both are the same. Intel Mac running Sonoma 14.5

a couple of suggestions

allow the user to select an object in the drafting window and highlight occurences of that object in the code window

allow the user to select the object name from X-ray in the same way you can do it from the code window to populate search textbox

when the light theme is selected, the found object is highlighted in a more contrasting colour as yellow gets lost against the white background

when the object search button is pressed, then view whole pattern is automatically applied so that the found object is always in view. At the moment, the found object can be outside the bounds of the pattern drafting window, requiring the user to zoom out or use view whole pattern to see the found object
